About

Myself facilitating an Agility workshop

Hi, I’m Carlos, and I’m the founder of Agility Launchpad. I’m originally from Brazil and moved to Canada 10 years ago. I’m married to an amazing wife, the father of a little boy who keeps me on my toes, and an avid fan of cycling, working out, reading fantasy books, learning guitar, and soaking up the outdoors in the summer.

I have over 20 years of experience in the tech industry, wearing many hats along the way—software engineer, business analyst, project manager, QA engineer, Scrum Master, and now senior agility coach. I’ve worked in large Fortune 500 companies, nimble startups, and everything in between. Whether it’s collocated teams, fully remote setups, or hybrid environments, I’ve been there.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, an MBA in Software Project Management, and multiple trainings in Agile methodologies and facilitation. Currently, I work for a Fortune 500 software company, where I coach teams to achieve high performance through agility. I also mentor less experienced Scrum Masters and managers, run workshops, deliver training, and facilitate off-sites. My work connects me with everyone from interns to VPs, giving me a unique perspective on Agile challenges at all levels.

Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand the struggles that people face when they step into Agile roles—especially without support. I’ve been fortunate to have a community around me that’s made all the difference in my journey. That’s why I created Agility Launchpad. My goal is to help new Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners find the guidance and support they need to thrive in their roles.

If you’re just starting out on your Agile journey or feel like you could use a little extra support, I’d love to help. Reach out, and let’s work together to set you up for success!
